Sam Purdy is a middle school educator currently studying School Leadership at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He grew up in a family of newspaper journalists and often reached for news or non-fiction books as a kid. While still a newshound and history buff, Sam has happily diversified his reading repertoire. His favorite books include The Years of Lyndon Johnson, by Robert Caro, Remains of the Day, by Kazuo Ishiguro, and Brown Girl Dreaming, by Jacqueline Woodson.
